About Us
Founding Journey
Born as an independent youth movement led by young social entrepreneur Samrat Pawar, the journey began when he entered the social sector at the age of 17. Through his grassroots experiences, he realized that empowering capable and socially conscious youth is essential for strengthening India’s economy and grassroots development.
Starting with 30 youth volunteers, the initiative gradually grew into a statewide grassroots movement, where young people began acting as contributors and catalysts of change in their communities. As part of the Shikshanganga Foundation, the work has been guided by the values of empathy, equity, and belongingness, focusing on channeling the potential of socioeconomically disadvantaged youth through mentoring, fellowship access, and professional skill-building opportunities.
